Friends of Springfield Illinois

 

 We are so lucky that after our big move we were able to make new friends so quickly!

Our great friends the Wheelers (Shannon, Zoey, Mitch, and Charley) lived in our neighborhood for a year. Before moving back to Indiana. I was so sad to see them leave! I loved Shannon! She would sit outside with me and just talk while we watched our friends leave. She made me feel like I still had a support system. The kids had a goodbye party before they moved. These pictures were taken then.

 The Griffin's (Susie, Byron, Jerron, and Aiclynn) I met them in the hotel we were staying in before we even had a home yet. They moved here at the same time as us. Her husband works for the same company as my husband, Lucky us! Me and Susie clicked instantly and were inseparable until she moved to Alaska in April 2013. It has been so hard loosing these two friends! I have not been able to find ones to replace them yet. The good news is I will still see Susie and her family every year at AGM.

Friends

My kids have so many wonderful friends. We love them. I usually have about 6 little girls in my house and 4 boys.

Camping at Payson Lakes

We went camping at Payson Lakes with our friends Josh and Noelle at the end of August. It was FREEZING! We barely left the campfire when we got home we all stunk so bad along with the car, my purse, and Ty's phone. We went to the lake and the kids just had to put on their swimsuits although they never once got in the water.

Living Planet Aquarium

We went with a bunch of friends to the Living Planet Aquarium. They just got Penguins and the kids were so excited to see them. I don't know how impressed I am with the Aquarium. I think it kind of sucks. But the kids thought it was great and we now have a season pass. So I guess that we will go more. It was still a lot of fun to be with friends and the kids had a great time.

Dinner with Friends

We always go out with these friends for dinner during the holidays. We all have been friends for a really long time and it is always so much fun to get together.

Me and my friends went to Chuckie Cheese for Brylee's 2nd birthday. My kids were so excited to go. I am a mean mom and don't like to take them there.

Couper's 1st Birthday

We went to a party at Kangaroo Zoo. My kids loved it and we had to drag them out of there.
Keara has been my friend forever. I love that she has a kid now. It makes it just that much better.

FUN

Me, Keara, Ivy, and Sheree went out to dinner and than went back to my house to just talk. It was so nice to spend some time with just the girls.

Shooting

All I can say is that it is a really good thing I have such good friends. I was sick when we went shooting so I was a huge grouch. No one but a good friend would have put up with me. But other than that it was fun. I have really bad aim and never shot anything. When we left I was finally getting a little better.

Old friends

 
 
I went to my friends. Before I moved to my new house we lived right by each other. I mean we shared a wall! She is so fun to just sit around and talk to. It is always completely casual. Also she has a daughter Rhetts age and one Addi's age so they all just love to play. I am so lucky to have so many good friends!

Aaron's birthday

For our friend Aaron's birthday we went to dinner at the cheese cake factory with a bunch of friends. Then they came back to our house and we played cards. It was so much fun!

Me and my friend Keara

My friend Keara came over the other day and we just hung out. It was a lot of fun. We have been friends forever. I was really excited that we remembered to take some pictures of us. I don't have any. I do wish though that they would have turned out better, but oh well. Who cares if I look a little scary.
